New logos for 2021
Following a diktat from on high (or at least from Evanston), ICFR were required to amend our Fellowship logos before the end of 2020, subtly encouraged by the threat of excommunication and/or similar penalties.
- Our sin was that our Fellowship logo had always included the Rotary wheel superimposed on a stylised globe.
- When combined with the new Rotary logo that meant that our "lockup" contained two Rotary wheels.
- Two wheels can be useful but it seems that the current Rotary establishment have favoured a unicycle approach.
We may yet give more thought to developing our future visual identity but, in order to ensure we met the strict deadline for compliance, we have for the moment agreed simply to remove the offending supernumary Rotary wheel.
- There are two versions of this new 2021 logo, a detailed one with the text of our full name and a simplifed version for use at smaller scales.
- You can download the graphics files for these logos from the links below. On a PC right-clicking the hypertext link should allow you to "Save as" the files to your own computer
- NB: These two-colour (blue and gold) versions of the logo are all POSITIVE versions for use on a white or light background.
For a very dark background you may need a REVERSED version.
For blue or gold backgrounds you may need other versions to ensure that the logos stand out.
You can see some examples of this on 2021 logo demo.pdf. Contact me, Colin Bradford, if you need anything like this.
